Sscom 3.2 !full! 【2026 Update】

: Supports standard and non-standard baud rates (e.g., 38400, 115200) to match specific hardware requirements.

is a lightweight, Windows-based serial communication tool designed to send and receive data via a computer’s COM port. Developed by Dingxin (丁丁), the software’s version 3.2 is widely considered the most stable and feature-rich release of the classic SSCOM line.

Supports a vast range of preset speeds (from 300 to 115,200 bps and beyond) and allows for custom baud rates if the hardware supports them.

Data sent by embedded sensors or industrial machinery isn't always human-readable text. SSCOM 3.2 handles this by offering a toggle between and HEX view modes.

Opens quickly without the heavy loading times of larger IDEs.

: To function correctly, the baud rate selected in the SSCOM interface must match the hardware's baud rate. Data Handling sscom 3.2

You might wonder why users stick with 3.2 when versions like 5.x exist. The reasons usually boil down to:

Understanding SSCOM 3.2: The Essential Serial Debugging Tool for Developers and Engineers

Setting up SSCOM 3.2 requires zero software installation, but it relies on appropriate computer-side hardware interface configuration.

[Hardware Device] ---> [USB-to-TTL / RS232 Adapter] ---> [PC USB Port] ---> [SSCOM 3.2 Software] Step 1: Establish the Hardware Interface : Supports standard and non-standard baud rates (e

SSCOM 3.2 allows for granular control over your connection. You can quickly toggle baud rates (from 110 to 921600 bps), data bits, stop bits, and parity. It also handles beyond the standard COM1-COM4, which is essential when using multiple USB-to-Serial adapters. 2. Multi-String Sending (The "Quick Send" Feature)

When you download it, ensure you are getting the version with the English/Chinese toggle , as the default interface is often in Chinese. Once opened, look for the checkbox or button labeled "English" to flip the UI. Conclusion

      1. Yep. And you’ve added a few fun bits, that’s nice. (And the movie’s ending appears to have changed? 😆)

In any event, thanks for the review, Mouse. I haven’t seen either Ponyo or this movie, but they do *sound* kinda different to me? IDK. Regardless, I don’t mind looking at different versions of the same story (or game, more commonly), even if one is objectively worse. I’m just a weirdo like that, I guess. 😉

Setting all that aside… Moomin, let’s gooo!! 😆

  1. Science Saru (the animators behind this and Devilman Crybaby) practically runs on that whole “this animation is ugly and minimalistic On Purpose(tm)” thing. Between taking and leaving that angle I prefer leaving it, but it’s neat seeing how blatantly the animation’s inspiration is worn on its sleeve, like the dance party turning everyone into Rubber Hose characters. “On-model” is evidently a 4-letter word for Science Saru!

  2. I was preparing to say I prefer Lu over Ponyo but I think the flaws between each film balance their respective scores out so I’m less confident on my stance there.

I think the deciding factor was that I liked the musical aspect of Lu, especially Kai’s ditty during the climax. Ponyo was a little too uninterested in a story for my mood and I don’t remember feeling like it makes up for that.

  3. PONYO may be minor Miyazaki, but sometimes small is Beautiful.

Also, almost everything would be better with vampires that stay dead.

Look, my favourite character was always Van Helsing, I make no apologies.

  4. Not one shot of this makes me particularly want to watch it. Maybe it if was super funny or heartwarming or something, but apparently it’s mostly Ponyo. I don’t even like Ponyo, so Ponyo-but-fugly doesn’t really cry out to be experienced.

  5. I alwayd enjoy your reviews. never seen this one, but the Moomin movie I do know, so im looking forward to it!

  6. Obama Plaza in Ireland might be worse than the Famine.

The movie appears paint-by-the-numbers. These films rely on the romance carrying the keg, and if the viewer isn’t feeling it, then the process becomes a slog.
